Powerpuff Girls!!

yes. I am actually watching the Powerpuff Girls. On on demand. with my cousin. It rocks. I forgot how much I missed some of the shows from Cartoon Network. Ya know, back when it was good.

Anyway, as everyone's facebook statuses have probably already informed you. The premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows pt. 2 is tonight. Aka: the end of a cinematic era. & 10 years of my childhood. I'm looking forward to it, but yeah, it'll be a tad bit sad. But I'm not "mourning" or anything. My only hope is that they do the long awaited Ron & Hermoine kiss justice! Seriously. I have waited 10 years Warner Brothers, please don't let me down. lol.

Oh man, I think the villain in this episode is trying to make anti-powerpuff girls!! the MAD-ness...

oh, and yes. I'm going to New York City tomorrow!!! .....by myself. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous. But I'm praying it'll just be another terrific adventure. Even though I'm flying solo. My plan is to not get lost more than 21 times. AND I really really hope I am successful in getting Lion King tickets for Broadway! Other than that, I just plan on exploring. seeing the Met. The Guggenheim. Central Park. Eating a hot dog stand in central park. Times Square. & etcetera. I'm staying at a hostel in Brooklyn. So that'll be neat to see Brooklyn. I bet there's good pizza..

ok! I'm off to pay more attention to mindless cartoons. Cheers!

Annie Hall & Lemon Poppyseed Muffins

The title pretty much says it all.
Today I made lemon poppyseed muffins & right now I am watching Annie Hall.
great film. I haven't seen it since sophomore year at aasu when I rented it on VHS. (so classic) This copy's on dvd and is from the Minutemen Library in Sudbury.
I'm a big library girl.

Most of you probably saw my posted pictures from the Cape. So let me just say that my 1st Cape Cod experience was spectacular! I loved it. We were definitely living the salt life. the beach. the boat. the tuna. the fireworks. the card games. the video games. the book reading. the 4th of July bbq. the quaint downtown scene. the tubing. the pebble collecting. I kept imagining what it was like in the late 1800's and early 1900's.. I saw a pretty painting at the orthodontist office yesterday with girls in white dresses and straw hats with flowers & a little boy in a sailor suit. That's probably what brought on that thought.

My sister skyped me this morning while I was making muffins and eating the best breakfast sandwich I have ever made (to date) It was pretty humorous as she put her laptop on to Grey's Anatomy for me as she was fresh from the shower. Then she did her makeup while I bustled around the kitchen filling muffin tins. But it wasn't at all weird that that's how we skyped. That's just us. And I love it, and I miss you babe. I am so excited that you're coming for my bday! I was singing the pointer sisters after I read your wall post. lol.

Uh oh, Alvey doesn't want Annie to move in.. I sense a comedic argument will now ensue.. I would love an old Volkswagen beetle like Annie has.

I actually need to begin car shopping myself soon..
something to look forward to. #not really

Ok, I think I'm just going to bop around the internet now scouting for recipes. Salutations from Massachusetts! I've decided the next place I want to explore (besides Canada) is San Francisco! Maybe I'll get an internship there.. who knows.
